She has created an app to help all those who are affected by the disease, an idea that she came up with while going through her own chemotherapy treatment. Vanessa was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, and will be running in aid of Breast Cancer Ireland in the Vhi Women's Mini Marathon in June.
