While wandering through the lands of Cyrodiil on foot is certainly a breath of fresh air, after a while, you may find yourself tired of trekking between quest waypoints. Luckily, Oblivion Remastered boasts a rather large selection of horses to free you from your travelling woes. Horses will move a lot faster than you, even when running, and can even traverse tricky terrain, like climbing up near-vertical cliffs. Anyone venturing to Frostcrag Spire might want to bring their horse just in case.

In the original Oblivion, leveling up was quite a convoluted process. Thankfully, in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, this process has been massively streamlined. Naturally, leveling up is a massively important feature that will need to be understood if you want to progress smoothly into the endgame.

After a day journeying through long, twisting dungeons, you’ll probably have noticed that your gear is starting to look a little worn. The Armorer skill in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered allows players to repair their gear through the use of repair hammers. As your weapons and armor degrade, they will lose a lot of their functionality and need to be mended back to 100% to regain their original abilities.

The Soulsborne series of games are a challenge. You don't need to be a genius to figure that one out. But that doesn’t mean they’re hard. In reality, they’re as difficult or as easy as you make them. These titles, while not having a difficulty slider, do have difficulty options, and using NPC summons is FromSoftware’s version of an easy mode. That isn’t to say you’re not playing the game right by using them. Just play the way you want to play, fun is the point of this after all.
