Teachers flipped on a dime and became virtual teachers, then adjusted again to hybrid learning, with students in class and online at the same time. Cafeteria staff developed plans to ensure students received meals while the world went on lockdown. Custodial staff worked, often with meager supplies, to sanitize every inch of schoolhouses.
