"There's an over-diagnosis [of mental heath problems]" Heath Secretary Wes Streeting says "there are too many people being written off" from work with mental health issues and "too many people aren't getting the support they need" #BBCLauraK https://t.co/WAWCirkFTF https://t.co/6rXb42a32H

Don’t quite have the energy to comment on the mental health discourse right now But, as someone who has a dad with paranoid schizophrenia and has been continually failed, the gov need to be focussing efforts on helping our most vulnerable instead of claims of ‘over diagnosis’

#Panorama really hits home for me. As someone with a dad who has paranoid schizophrenia, my worst fear has always been him harming himself – or becoming so unwell he would hurt someone else Families aren’t listened to and I’ve had to continually beg for my dad to get help
