    This year on March 31 marks the 30-year anniversary of the murder of Queen of Tejano Selena Quintanilla at just 23 years old. Yolanda Saldivar, former president of Selena’s fan club and convicted murderer has been serving a life sentence and this week her parole was denied, the state’s parole board announced on Thursday, March 27, the Associated Pressreported. Saldivar, who is 64 years old, shot the beloved singer in a hotel room with a .38 caliber revolver she alleges she meant to use on herself.
