Adjustment was made to avoid a scheduling conflict with the Academy Awards LOS ANGELES, CA – May 8, 2025 – The McCourt Foundation today announced a date change for the 2026 ASICS Los Angeles Marathon. The 41st annual race will now be held one week earlier than initially planned, taking place on Sunday, March 8, 2026.  This adjustment was made to avoid a scheduling conflict with the Academy Awards, also planned to occur on the marathon’s original date of March 15.
