“My mind would spiral out of control… after countless different doctor’s appointments, I felt at a loss. I was told to go on the pill at the age of 14 as it would help with PMS, cramping and I could even skip my period – how glorious! Years later at the age of 30, I only now feel as though I’m coming to understand the different complexities of the female body and its hormones.
