Recently I read in a social media real estate forum on Facebook that no real estate agent should be given a part-time license. I too initially wanted to work part-time however the reality quickly set in. In the working world, part-time is considered 30-35 hours. Possibly if a real estate agent is working only with one client, that agent truly may not be working beyond 30-35 hours. However, if a real estate agent is a true professional, 30-35 hours is probably considered a slow week.

On my father’s side, I was a first generation Swede. My Swedish grandmother was a woman of deep faith and a long time member of the Lutheran faith. As I grew up in Hammond, IN, I attended First United Lutheran Church Sunday School and services with my parents. My father was an elder of the church. During junior high I was confirmed via Luther’s Small Catechism and experienced my first communion. After my daughter was baptized and grew older, I introduced her to the Lutheran faith.
