A surge in highly publicized food recalls in the last year has many consumers concerned. How do you know your food is safe? There are about 48 million cases of foodborne illnesses each year in our country, according to the CDC. In the last year, there have been recalls linked to big household names, including the deadly listeria outbreak linked to Boar's Head deli meats and the E. coli outbreak from the onions served at McDonald's. Still, experts say our food supply is safe.

This year the American Heart Association’s “Go Red” movement celebrates 20 years of working to improve heart health of all women through education and research. Back in December, nurses Beth Wall and Becky Athey walked together to start their shifts at Goshen Health. Beth suffered a massive heart attack.
