Mr Price was called to Tesco Express in Foregate Street by staff at the store concerned that Peter Swinbourne was trying to get in despite being drunk. Having already been banned from entering the shop, Mr Swinbourne - who is known locally as Barney - began swearing while sipping from a can. In the footage captured by Mr Price's bodycam, Mr Swinbourne can be seen raising his fists.

Wayne Price lost his job as a Safer Streets Officer with Worcester BID after being charged with assault by beating following the incident in September last year. He pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Viktor Bernardo, of Washington Street, Worcester, was found guilty after a one-day trial at the city’s magistrates’ court. The woman and two friends had gone out for the evening visiting Botanic and Wetherspoons before finishing at the nightspot, Bottles, on New Street, the court was told.

Wayne Price pleaded not guilty to one charge of assaulting Peter Swinbourne by beating when he appeared before Worcester magistrates in January. It is understood the alleged incident occurred on September 26 last year near Tesco Express in Foregate Street.

An inquest at Stourport-on-Severn heard that Jonathan Goodwin's body was found in the water by Diglis Bridge following an exhaustive search by rescue services in August last year. Mr Goodwin, of Toronto Close, Worcester, had been struggling with his mental health and had been upset in the days before his death, said his father, Richard Goodwin.

Worcestershire County Council applied for a legal order to enforce the removal of the caravan in Park Avenue, Barbourne, after a flurry of complaints from nearby locals about loud music and other anti-social behaviour. And at Worcester magistrates' court last week, an order was made meaning the owner now has no choice but to move it. A spokesman for the county council said police had been called out to deal with anti social behaviour and the caravan had to be moved as soon as possible.

Fernando Goncalves appeared before Worcester Magistrates' Court charged with being the owner/person in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury. Goncalves pleaded guilty to the single charge which occurred on June 9 last year in Discovery Lane, Evesham.
