    On a recent drive up New York’s Hudson Valley, I spent half a day at Hyde Park, Franklin D. Roosevelt’s imposing family home and the site of his presidential museum. It’s hard to imagine another place that provides a more immediate counterpoint to the moral decay into which President Donald Trump has plunged the country, or a more poignant contrast to the privations of the Trump White House. Roosevelt, of course, features prominently in any list of the handful of greatest American presidents.
