    AUBURN — The improbable playoff run of the Edward Little softball team is still alive. The Red Eddies, the seventh seed in the Class A North playoffs, beat top-seeded Bangor 4-1 for the regional championship on Tuesday at Central Maine Community College.     AUBURN — The Saint Dominic Academy baseball team knew Saturday’s game was going to be one to remember, win or lose. But the Saints really didn’t want to go out with a loss. Second-seeded St. Dom’s defeated No. 3 Telstar 6-4 in a Class D South semifinal in the final home for a Saint Dominic Academy varsity team, due to the closure of the high school by the Diocese of Portland.

The third-seeded Panthers beat second-seeded Leavitt 10-3 on Saturday, earning a spot in the Class B South final Tuesday against fourth-seeded Freeport or top-seeded York. Medomak outhit Leavitt 12-2.
