Ideological regimes, like CCP & Iran, are riddled with fault lines. Sometimes they break just because they're brittle. Already US elites, right & left, are defending these regimes and we'll see more in weeks and months ahead.

Agree with the sentiment but there's not much we can do viz. regime change in Beijing. That's an internal matter for the Chinese people to resolve. All we can do is protect our interests. Which means sticking it to China whenever--and wherever--possible.

They were told what would happen if they went to China but they still did it because labor was cheap, so they got screwed. But not as badly as the Americans who got screwed because these guys went to China because of the cost. What's happening now isn't primarily for these guys.
