At approximately 6:05 p.m. on April 13, FBFD was dispatched to a shrimp boat that had washed ashore in the area of 2480 N. Oceanshore Blvd. FBFD says they attempted to make vocal contact with the crew of the shrimp boat with no response.

A Brevard County man was arrested on Tuesday, April 1, in relation to a report he made stating he had been the victim of a shooting in a Fed-Ex parking lot. Fed-Ex employee Alexander Lefort, 30, reported on March 21, 2024, that an unknown white male wearing sweatpants, sneakers, a black hoodie and a balaclava had shot him in the abdomen between 5:40 and 5:46 a.m. Thursday morning.
