Interesting way of looking at it. The Kansas City Chiefs needed help at wide receiver during the 2024 season so Brett Veach went and did something he typically doesn't do: He traded for a wide receiver. That wide receiver was DeAndre Hopkins, who Chiefs fans wanted the team to sign ahead of the 2023 season but he chose to sign with the Tennessee Titans instead. Hopkins wasn't a superstar with the Chiefs by any means but he still was a solid addition for the team.

The Cincinnati Bengals went to work this offseason ensuring that their offense didn't miss a step for the 2025 season and beyond. As for the defense, it could use some work. We all saw how much the Bengals defense struggled early on during the season and with the team putting a ton of money on the offensive side of the ball, it would be the least surprising thing ever to see the first-round pick be spent on a defensive draft prospect.

The Baltimore Ravens hold the 27th pick in the 2025 NFL Draft and draft experts have been all over the board as far as what the team might do with that selection. Will they try and bolster the defensive side of the ball? Maybe they try to add weapons for Lamar Jackson? What about more depth to the offensive line? At this point, there's not much that would surprise Ravens fans but one recent mock draft did have an eyebrow raising sort of selection for Baltimore.

Stroud would be thrilled about this! The Houston Texans are expected to go in one of two ways during the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft and both options would strongly benefit C.J. Stroud. One option is that they attempt to bolster their offensive line, a unit that struggled mightily to protect Stroud. The other option is to find another pass-catcher for Stroud, as Stefon Diggs is off to New England and Tank Dell is going to miss most of, if not all of, the season.
