A 33-year-old man has been charged after he allegedly stole a vehicle at a drive-thru in Saint John, N.B.Police say the man approached a vehicle in a drive-thru in the area of McAllister Drive and tried to gain entry around 2 p.m. Wednesday. The man allegedly assaulted a male in the parking lot and made further attempts to enter other vehicles, according to a news release from police.

A member of the New Glasgow Regional Police has been charged with sexual assault in connection with an alleged incident that happened nearly two decades ago. In June 2024, Antigonish County District RCMP says it received a report of a sexual assault that happened during the summer of 2007. Police say investigators learned a man allegedly sexually assaulted a woman, who was a youth at the time, at an event at a private home. The force says 38-year-old Cpl.

Two people were taken to hospital after a car and transport truck collided in Greenwich, N.S. Kings District RCMP, along with firefighters and paramedics, responded to the two-vehicle crash on Highway 1 at the Greenwich Connector around 2:10 a.m. Tuesday. Police say two people in the car were taken to hospital with injuries. Police did not comment on the extent of their injuries.
