The Home Office is said to be investigating the group's funding and potential links to Iran, according to unnamed sources, The Times reported.

Fears over a move to close the waterway after Israel's targeting of Iran's nuclear infrastructure are rising. Closure of the strait would disrupt global supply chains, as a fifth of global oil shipments pass through the channel that connects the Gulf to the Arabian Sea.
