In August 2023, Kathy Sheree Sanders was the passenger in a car that was pulled over for “failing to stop at two separate stop signs” in Lake County, Fla. She was immediately arrested on a warrant from nearby Sumter County.

She also kept the suspect and her driver’s license at the store until the victim’s son and police arrived.
