The question is absolutely appropriate. Ask the folks at the Associated Press what happened for refusing to use the name Gulf of America in every instance without qualification. President Donald Trump is suing Paramount/CBS for $20 billion, claiming the news program somehow defamed him by editing the answer to a question given by election opponent Kamala Harris that was not about Trump, who turned down a similar interview. That lawsuit could also mean trouble for Paramount’s sale to Skydance Media.

I’m back after a month with a more personal type of story. That’s what CohenConnect.com will be again, along with some opinion. The news moved to FloridaFreaks.com, where I’ve been adding older articles that were never on this site. I hope to write new stories there again next week. Physical moving – as opposed to the kind involving stories and websites – has been too big a part of my adult life, and not throwing anything out has helped support the moving industry. That’s finally changing.

In August 2023, Kathy Sheree Sanders was the passenger in a car that was pulled over for “failing to stop at two separate stop signs” in Lake County, Fla. She was immediately arrested on a warrant from nearby Sumter County.

LEESBURG, Fla. – An employee at a check-cashing store didn’t just refuse to cash a forged check with a large amount. She also kept the suspect and her driver’s license at the store until the victim’s son and police arrived. Now, that suspect, described as a caregiver for the 92-year-old victim at an assisted living facility in Florida, faces two felonies.
