Ridge of high pressure remains in place through the start of the weekend, although with a few more clouds expected in the forecast. Daytime highs Saturday remain on the warm side and above average in the upper 70s and 80s. Changes arrive overnight Saturday into Sunday with Mother's Day seeing a 30% chance of showers while Coeur d'Alene has a 40% chance of showers as a system makes its way into the PNW to kick off this next week.

High pressure builds in from the Desert Southwest driving daytime highs back into the upper 70s and 80s to wrap up the work week and start of the weekend. Our only watch spot is an area of low pressure off the coast line, that could create just enough instability to fire up a few very isolated thunderstorms across the Camas prairie and Northeast mountains of Oregon Friday.

A system will move through Saturday bringing a round of scattered showers, cooler temperatures and gusty winds to kick off the weekend. Bloomsday Sunday is still looking pretty good! There could be a few lingering showers early Sunday morning,  but by race time, it is expected to be partly sunny, with daytime highs headed into the mid 60s. Next week a return to sunshine and 70s. Have a great weekend-GO BLOOMIES

We'll wrap up the work week with plenty of sunshine and the potential for Spokane to reach its first 80-degree day of the year! A system will move through Friday night into Saturday bringing a round of scattered showers, cooler temperatures and gusty winds to kick off the weekend. Bloomsday Sunday is still looking pretty good! There is a 30% chance of early morning showers but by race time, it is expected to be partly sunny.

A ridge of high pressure will deliver sunshine and warmer temperatures through the end of the week, with Friday forecasted to be the warmest day as daytime highs pop into the 80s. A weak system will move through Friday night into Saturday bringing a round of scattered showers and cooler temperatures to kick off the weekend. So far so good for Bloomsday Sunday, with Saturday's showers set to taper off and skies set to clear just in time for the big race.
