It's starting to transition to fall, and that means apple-picking season is upon us. Driving to the local orchard is one of our family's favorite fall traditions. We just dropped our daughter off in Clinton, New York for her first year of college. While I prepped by reading a few articles, there were a few things I learned along the way that I thought I would share to make your move in day easier with your freshmen. These tips should be helpful for first-time families, and might even be great reminder for some of you bringing in upperclassmen to college as well.
