On Feb. 26 at 7:28 a.m., a Mustang Alert went out notifying the campus community of smoke in the Holt Center and requesting immediate evacuation. Police and fire personnel were on the scene as the alert was sent. Delta staff worked to evacuate the building and move any classes in Holt to other buildings on campus. The fire started on an HVAC unit above one of the auto shops. Fire crews worked quickly climbing on top of the building to put out the fire.
