    Dear Editor,Lorenzo Onorato and colleagues conducted a meta-analysis to compare the efficacy of cefiderocol versus best available therapy (BAT) for carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii (CRAB) infections.1 We identified a correction in “Table 2b” of this article, which can be verified by “Figure 3”: the number of patients in the combination group should be “182”, not the “82” reported by the authors.

    Since 2014, tens of thousands of women and children have flocked to the southern border of the United States from many countries in Central America, bringing with them a continual state of crisis. This abnormal human migration shows that U.S.-driven globalization did not fundamentally bridge the development gap across countries. With global climate change, the gap continues to widen. No one is displaced from their hometown willingly. But for these refugees, this dangerous road is their only choice.

    As the presidential election draws near in the United States, major political changes may occur that will add further uncertainties to China-U.S. collaboration in science and technology. In March, the two countries negotiated and extension of their Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement for half a year. In three months, the agreement will once again arrive at a crossroads. In the medium and long term, its protection of bilateral scientific and technological cooperation will decrease.
