By Liam Dawe - 4 Jun 2025 at 4:28 pm UTC Developer tobyfox has released DELTARUNE on Steam, their follow-up to the smash-hit UNDERTALE and it's a game that's just insanely hard to describe. Even the creator has a hard time talking about what exactly it is noting "I don't know what you call this kind of game. It's just a game you can play after you complete UNDERTALE, if you want to".

Watching YouTube on Steam Deck / SteamOS? You need to grab VacuumTube which makes the whole experience a lot nicer. This is not a custom client, instead it wraps Google's own "YouTube Leanback" that's used for consoles and smart TVs in Electron and pretends to be the official YouTube app (as Google block it on PCs). Quite a clever solution, although one Google is probably not particularly happy to see. Especially since it has a built-in adblocker too.

By Liam Dawe - 4 Jun 2025 at 1:30 pm UTC Ricave is a thoroughly quirky and unique first-person, 3D roguelike dungeon crawler, now available in Early Access and worth a look. Disclosure: the developer sent a key. From Polish solo developer Piotr Walczak, it's quite impressive what they've built here with all the systems that work together.

Tempest Rising is a thoroughly great RTS that's worth picking up, giving us a modern classic that all Command & Conquer fans will love. Disclosure: key provided by the developer. Especially me! After growing up with Command & Conquer, Red Alert and Tiberian Sun I was itching to play through Tempest Rising and when it comes to the single-player it does not disappoint. Thanks to Valve's Proton, it also runs just perfectly on Desktop Linux.
