Residents in a Northern Vanderburgh County neighborhood are feeling a little safer, now that an alleged burglar wearing a clown mask has been arrested. Photo: Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office MasksFolks in the Wellington Acres neighborhood shared photos on social media of someone wearing a clown mask and allegedly stealing from vehicles. The Easterseals Cool Car, Cold Cash Raffle is back, and it’s one of my favorite local fundraisers of the year. Why? Because not only can YOU win a 2025 Nissan Versa or $20,000 cash (your choice!), but every single dollar stays right here in the Tri-State to support the amazing work being done at the Easterseals Rehabilitation Center.

According to John Hopkins Medicine you should drink water before you are thirsty. I am so bad at that. I'll drink water first thing in the morning, and then it just doesn't seem appealing. Sometimes I will add some electrolyte powder since I know that I'm not drinking enough water. In addition to water, sports drinks are a good option. But, soft drinks with caffine, coffee, and alchol will only contibute to dehydration.

When you pass a gas station, you probably don't feel the need to stop in and see if they have fresh bakery donuts. That is, of course, unless you are familiar with The Windmill Bakery, which was a hidden treasure inside a gas station. Photo: gas station LibIt was a cold day in 2015 when regular customers of the Circle K on Highway 41 North discovered that the donuts were not the same. The Windmill Bakery closed, and the new owners had donuts delivered from a bakery in Kentucky.
