LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — Three years ago, an Acadiana couple found out their two-and-a-half-year-old daughter had juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Joshua and Joelle LeBreton were initially told their daughter would be living with the disease for years, or maybe even forever, but now, she’s in remission without medication. Symptoms started out as a subtle limp, which quickly turned into a baseball-sized swollen knee and inability to walk.
