Child actor Sophie Nyweide, who was found dead in the woods last week, was pregnant, according to a death certificate obtained by PEOPLE. Nyweide, 24, was pronounced dead before 5 a.m. on April 14 in Bennington, Vermont, the magazine reported. An autopsy was performed, but the cause of death is still unknown. Police are investigating the death of Nyweide as an unintentional overdose.

Traffic fatalities in the U.S. decreased in 2024, with 39,345 deaths reported by the United States Department of Transportation’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). The death toll represents a 3.8% decrease compared to the 40,901 deaths reported in 2023. This marked the first time since 2020 that the number of deaths fell below 40,000.

Although the weekend’s battle reenactments are over, people can still connect with the 250th anniversary of the battles of Lexington and Concord through new commemorative stamps. The pane of 15 watercolor-painted “forever” stamps, created by the United States Postal Service (USPS), depicts scenes of five battles that occurred during the American Revolution, the USPS recently explained on its website.

The United States has issued a travel advisory for Morocco due to terrorism concerns. The April 21 advisory is level two, meaning tourists should exercise increased caution, according to the United States Department of State. “Terrorist groups continue plotting possible attacks in Morocco,” the department warned.
