The ACT government has announced a new pedestrian crossing for Canberra Avenue after two schoolboys were hit by a car. The St Edmund's College students, who were struck by the allegedly stolen car while walking to school, survived the incident but remain injured. The proposed crossing still needs approval from the National Capital Authority to go ahead.
