Four years ago, when I joined Waymo, there were no autonomous vehicles operating on the streets of San Francisco. However, last year marked a significant milestone for Waymo as it provided 700,000 robotaxi trips without human chauffeurs in the driver’s seats. Waymo’s robotaxis have evolved from high-tech gadgets into daily commuting tools in San Francisco, akin to the iconic Cable cars. Reflecting on these past four years, my journey at Waymo has been incredibly rewarding and exhilarating.

Abstract Numerous process architectures for fabric molding are investigated because fiber braided structure is closely related to the performance of fiber-reinforced composites. However, existing methods for calculating process architectures have to deal with the coordinates of each fiber when modeling the three-dimensional braiding method without individually controlled switches. The amount of data grows geometrically as the number of fibers and braiding steps increases.
