    To the Editor:What makes people play tricks on others? Have you ever played a trick on someone? Did you enjoy doing it? Could playing a trick once in a while be fun and entertaining? Playing tricks constantly on the same people can become downright annoying to some, but to others it can be creative and amusing. Thinking about a trickster’s behavior can be a bit confusing as to wondering why this person seems to be so satisfied by fooling someone.

    To the Editor:Have you ever feared the dark? Did you ever hesitate or get a chill when the lights suddenly would go out? There is something about losing visual stimuli that can take away the feeling of being safe and secure. There are adults who need to sleep with the lights on.

    To the Editor:Sometime in the 1900s, that saying was created. It was used often and it came about from finding out that a maid or house cleaner swept extra debris under the rug in order to hide the extra mess to finish in a timely manner or simply because of laziness or nonconformity. The saying became popular way back in the day and still is being used.

    To the Editor:There are many people of all ages who walk other people’s pets. Some charge a fee. Some do it as a favor. My question is: How responsible do you think the pet walker would be if something went awry? What if there was an uncontrollable accident or maybe even a loose dog lunging at the pet and possibly causing a bite or injury? Or the walker could accidentally drop the leash and the pet could run away or into traffic.

    To the Editor:Don’t you think that when anyone says “I’m sorry,” those two words always are sincere and heartfelt? Would you agree that often those words only could be an utterance to show politeness? Some people say they are sorry by attempting to attach ease to a situation or comment that in some way aroused hurt, anger or resentment. At times these two words are said insincerely to appease, cover up or excuse something that affected one person or more.
