This event will be held Friday, Dec. 22 and Saturday, Dec. 23 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Democratic Party Headquarters, 221 Chillicothe Avenue, Hillsboro. The treats will consist of a variety of candies, mixed nuts and fruits. Everyone is welcome to stop by and receive a bag of goodies. We look forward to making your holiday a little sweeter.

At the auction, the party purchased a beautiful blackberry pie entered by Diana Stephan (pictured) of the New Market community. The Highland County Democrat Party will hold a “rent a table” yard sale Friday, June 30 from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and Saturday, July 1 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at their headquarters, 221 Chillicothe Ave., Hillsboro. The event will be held rain or shine. The Party has a great space with inside and outside areas. The cost to rent a table to sell your items is $30 for an eight-foot table and $25 for a six-foot table.

The Highland County Democratic Party is pleased to announce the opening of its new headquarters at 221 Chillicothe Avenue, Hillsboro, across the street from KFC. The party will hold an open house/ice cream social June 11 from 1-5 p.m. to mark the occasion. Petitions will be available for voters to sign, to place the Right to Reproductive Freedom with Protections for Health and Safety on the ballot in November. Light refreshments will also be served.
