Lyon, France, is most famous for its gastronomy. Lyon’s foodie fame is well-deserved; the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, which includes Lyon, is a major agricultural producer and esteemed wine region. There are over 80 Michelin-star restaurants in and around Lyon. What is less well known is Lyon’s status as a vibrant queer community, with many shops and activities just for us. Lyon is so LGBTQ-friendly that it topped Mr. Travel’s list of LGBTQ-friendly cities in 2022, beating out Paris.

ArticleIzzy Kharasch is president of Hospitality Works, a Chicago-based foodservice consulting company. And he thinks that purchasing from more than two broad-line distributors is too many. “Typically, an owner thinks ‘the more the better because I can check everybody’s prices.’ When they do that, they go back and forth and spend hours saving pennies,” he says. Between @JanetMillsforME standing up for trans rights, VT protesting Vance, and @MayorWu defending immigrants, I've never been more proud to be from New England.

Florida's travel industry has been taking a bit for a while, mainstream media just doesn't like to talk about it.

@JeffreyLuscombe @CathyMcInturff People from Blue States have been avoiding Florida for quite some time. Now, with Canada taking a pass (and I'm sure other countries) their tourist industry is taking a hit. 😉 Course if people showed up... they don't have the hospitality workers anyway. 🤷

Here’s a teaser of some themes of my book. Fun fact, I did this Zoom from Iceland. It was midnight my time, can you tell I was exhausted or did I hide it okay?
