A strange mash up of found footage and heavy metal documentary, Who’s Watching (playing at The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival) is a scathing look at the kind of men who think the reason women don’t like them is because there is something inherently wrong with women. Caleb lives with his grandmother, works for his uncle and has a strange past with his parents. Director: JT MollnerWriter: JT MollnerStars: Willa Fitzgerald, Kyle Gallner, REVIEWIn a landscape of serial killer entertainment, writer/director JT Mollner has not only managed to deliver a wholly engaging story of cat and mouse, but he has also turned the genre on it’s head by subverting everything that you think you know about it. If you have heard the word of mouth on Strange Darling, then you know it’s recommended to go into the film as clueless as possible, and I couldn’t agree more.
