    A young boy had a miraculous escape after being swept off a pier by monstrous waves. The boy, believed to be no more than 12 years old, was alone when he fell into the sea amid treacherous conditions yesterday, Thursday, August 22. An onlooker at Sennen Cove, in west Cornwall, recounted the incident, noting it "highlighted the danger" and expressed hope that it would serve as a warning to others. He said the youngster was "incredibly lucky" to have escaped injury, reports Cornwall Live.
