Players, coaches, committee members and volunteers gathered at the Port Douglas Yacht Club on Saturday night where for the first time ever, the Seniors count ended in a tie. In the Seniors division, midfielders Liam Brandt and Brett McKeown both finished with an impressive 133 votes, resulting in the draw.

The 30-year-old midfielder polled 33 votes in league’s Best and Fairest award, 16 votes more than the runner-up, South Cairns’ Liam McCarthy, who amassed just 17.
