Nevada Legislature updateAt the April 15 Eureka County Commission meeting, in reporting on legislation being considered by the Nevada Legislature, assessor Mike Mears said, “Last Friday at midnight was the first big deadline for the session with committee passage,” meaning “anything that did not get voted out of committee is basically dead at this point.” Mears said half the bills he’s been tracking died by committee deadline. The next hard deadline is April 22.
