A 26-year-old man has been released on conditional bail following a fatal crash on the Strand in central London, the Met Police has said. One woman in her 20s died and three others were hurt after a van hit pedestrians at about 11:40 GMT on Tuesday, close to King's College London and Somerset House. A 27-year-old woman remains in hospital in a serious but not life-threatening condition, while a 23-year-old man also taken to hospital has since been discharged.
