CLEARWATER, Fla. – Residents of the South Beach III Condominium located at 1460 Gulf Boulevard are being allowed to partially reoccupy the building following the installation of emergency shoring to stabilize a damaged support column. The building was evacuated last week after a crack was discovered in a support column near the northwest corner. Karins Engineering was retained to assess the damage and recommended immediate evacuation until shoring could be installed and the column stabilized.

According to PSO, the unknown suspect entered several vehicles in the aforementioned area sometime between 8 p.m. on May 10 and 6:30 a.m. on May 11.

According to information released, Cyr was last seen on Thursday, May 9, 2025, at approximately 11 p.m. near Flint Street. Cyr is described as being 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighing around 165 pounds, with blonde hair and hazel eyes. When she was last seen, she reportedly wore leggings and a top of an unknown color.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO) took Trenton Michael Watkins, 41, and Rachel Marie Perez, 39, into custody on the morning of Wednesday, May 6th. Authorities attribute multiple burglaries occurring between April 18th and May 5th to the pair.

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – A 30-year-old Winter Haven man with an active warrant for burglary, felony petit theft, and resisting without violence was taken into custody by the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on May 7th. Deputies say Donnie Preston Smith III was wanted in connection with a burglary on May 2nd, where a bicycle was reported stolen. According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, a detective attempted to speak with Smith during the initial investigation into the May 2nd incident.
