If Trump doesn’t follow SCOTUS ordersThe above was done sometime in last several years as we learned Pope Francis was a Catholic leader that tried to do good things. Four House democrats traveled to El Salvador: Representatives Yassamin Ansari of Arizona, Maxine Dexter of Oregon, Maxwell Frost of Florida and Robert Garcia of California touched down in Central America on Sunday.

News breaks, and thoughts:California is suing Trump over tariffs. Go, Gavin Newsome. An article was positioned at the top of the page of the NY Times today titled, Why Harvard Decided to Fight The Trump Administration. I find this to be annoying and a waste of space because it’s obvious why they did it, and I am so happy they did. Harvard is the oldest university in our country, and while I have my issues with them, clearly they do a lot of good in the world in terms of research and free thought.

And a baseball cartoon (‘tis the season!)Harvard says it will not comply with Trump’s demands of asking for merit-based in hiring and admissions, and report international students who broke rules (whatever that means). Harvard calls this request illegal and is the first major university to say no to Trump. Other universities have pushed back, but Harvard is calling his demand illegal, which is a first for a higher institution. Fantastic.

It’s actually something I drew in aroung 2018, and the magazine had it in its bank all these years! Someone there decided to publish it this week — timely, unfortunately. The New Yorker has a huge storage of bought cartoons from a lot of us regular contributors, I don’t know how many, but I am guessing a lot.
