If you’ve been in my home or shopped alongside me for, well, just about anything, you know I’m drawn to pieces that tell a story. I’ve always believed that our homes should feel collected, not decorated. And, the new collaboration between Charleston, South Carolina designer Megan Molten and wallpaper studio Mitchell Black creates a beautiful backdrop for this aesthetic, as the wallpaper tells a story on its own.

I’ve had my eye on Jasmine Roth since she first started transforming homes on HGTV. If you’ve watched “Help! I Wrecked My House” or “Hidden Potential,” you know exactly what I’m talking about — that perfect blend of practical solutions with designs that actually feel like home. What I didn’t realize until recently? Jasmine’s East Coast and Southern roots (she grew up in Virginia) shine through in her approachable, family-friendly aesthetic.

Today marks the 55th Anniversary of the Voting Rights Act of 1965. It took 95 years from the 15th Amendment (1870) to 1965, with the 19th Amendment in 1920. These are 3 significant moments in American voting history. I still tear up every time I vote. People fought hard. VOTE.
