As The Dallas Morning News recently reported, women in the United States are “stocking up” on abortion pills out of fear these drugs (mainly misoprostol and mifepristone) will become hard to source due to looming restrictions. Indeed, the Supreme Court will be ruling later this year on an appeal by the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals limiting access by mail to mifepristone.

He had severe cervical stenosis in his neck with bad compression of his spinal cord and was gradually losing his ability to use his hands for simple tasks such as eating and dressing. He was in a significant amount of pain and his walking had deteriorated to needing a walker.

The symptoms of emotional exhaustion, depression, and diminished sense of personal accomplishment are well-documented. Subsequently, many consider an alternate career path. Even though the data are elusive regarding the actual percentage of physicians doing so, it is nonetheless a reality.
