Being a high school athlete in New Hampshire is incredibly difficult. And if you have a high schooler managing sports, multiple sports, on top of school work...they probably deserve some grace. "Isn't it the same in every state?" No. No, it is not. It's easier. I'll say it. When I went to Pentucket Regional High School in West Newbury, MA, most opposing schools in our league were 20-30 minutes away. Sure, the Cape Ann League (a Massachusetts sports division) includes Rockport.

Most elementary - high school students take a trip to see where America all began. The sad thing is that it is pretty underwhelming and often leaves students disappointed. Now, for students missing classes for a field trip, the place is "good enough..." but for people all around the world travelling to see this tourist attraction... The price to travel probably was not worth what you saw. Many traveling sites, local travel bloggers, etc., have named Plymouth Rock the worst tourist trap in the world.

Wooden roller coasters are incredibly fun and far scarier than a steel roller coaster. Steel roller coasters are far safer looking than a bunch of crickety two-by-fours holding together a roller coaster built before World War II. And it is the creaky, squeaking floorboard sound that is the most nerve-racking. Many wooden roller coasters have been around for decades, but they have had work done to them.

If you had 24 hours to visit New Hampshire, what would you do? I guess the proper way to phrase this question would be, if someone who has never been to New Hampshire was visiting the Granite State, what would they HAVE to see in the 24-hour time frame? Below is what I think are the must-hits in a 24-hour period. 3 AM start. This is the most climbed mountain in the world. On a clear day, you can see Boston's skyline from the top of the mountain.
