Sikar: In a tragic incident, Sultan Singh Bajia, a GREF (General Reserve Engineering Force) soldier from Lakhnai, lost his life in a snow avalanche in Himachal Pradesh. His body was brought to Reengus Police Station late Sunday night and was transported to his village with a tricolour rally.
Villagers and family members demanded martyr status for the soldier, along with a government job for his dependents. Protests and highway blockages were staged by locals, including prominent leaders.
