In our youthful science studies, we learned about Darwin’s theory of survival of the fittest where organisms adapt to their environment. With the many challenges of today’s world, it seems appropriate to think that humans might need to adapt, too. For Christians, spiritual fitness through growth and adaptation is essential. It takes great physical, emotional, and spiritual energy to survive in these turbulent times.
