When it comes to driving in Texas, drivers must know the driving laws. Most of these laws are taught in driver's education. However, there are some laws out there that you might not know about when it comes to driving. Sometimes the occasional one will slip by you and you know nothing about it until you get a ticket. Trust me the police officer isn't going to take, "Oh I didn't know" as an excuse. As a driver, it is your responsibility to know the driving laws.

West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas cannot seem to catch a break with on-campus buildings lately. Not long after announcing that the Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum would be closing indefinitely, another announcement revealed another somewhat historical building would be closing. Shirley Hall was established and opened on the WTAMU campus in 1964. This dorm has been housing students for 61 years.

At one point in history, Amarillo, Texas has 6 of these popular fast-food restaurants serving each area of the city. Long John Silver's AmarilloYes! Amarillo had six locations, Pierce, Paramount, South Bell, South Western, Ross, and Westgate Mall. This fast food haven was a great place to get fish, shrimp and those heavenly chicken planks. Not to mention the crumbs from the batter that fell into the grease as they dropped your fish or chicken into fry.

One of the strange things in Amarillo, Texas is the giant legs off I-27. If you aren't familiar with this art installation, it looks like the body has been broken off a statue and all that is left are just a broken set of legs. Michael J. Rivera/Townsquare MediaThe Ozymandias is an art installation created by Lightin' McDuff, a Panhandle artist, in 1996. This project was originally set to be an entire giant, but the artist decided to go with just the legs.
