Book ReviewFireworks Every Night By Beth RaymerThis book opens with a twenty-six-year-old woman, C.C., marrying into a very wealthy family. The first sentence tells us this in shorthand when it describes a harp in the family’s living room that belonged to Marie Antoinette. It’s a misleading opening because it gives the impression that the author is going to talk about wealth when the opposite is true. C.C. is the younger of two daughters born to Mary Kay and Calvis Borkoski.

Book ReviewThe Safekeep by Yael Van Der WoudenThe Safekeep is set in the Netherlands in 1961. There are three parts to the novel. In the first, we get to know an ice-cold woman named Isabel. In the second part, she softens to the point of melting thanks to a lesbian affair. And then there is the third part that lets you know what the book is really about. And to say anything at all about part three is to say too much.

If you know and love this actor, he is the romantic interest in my memoir, Love, Loss, and Moving On. The book is now available in Audiobook – with virtual voice narration – on Amazon. It is still available as a paperback and as an eBook. Check it out! https://t.co/MAAjqergHW https://t.co/xuMZrIGWI8
