CLEVELAND (WJW) — On Wednesday, Northeast Ohio said goodbye to the man who helped create the biggest sports franchises in Cleveland history. Former Cleveland Cavaliers and Indians owner Nick Mileti died Wednesday morning, family members confirmed to FOX 8’s Dan Coughlin. He was 93. Brother reveals cause of death for fitness legend Richard Simmons Mileti was a local attorney who, in 1968, bought the old Cleveland Barons pro hockey team and the Cleveland Arena.
