A survey has revealed that we’ve become a nation of coffee shop addicts, with millennials spending an average of £728 a year on going for a coffee, while Generation Z drop £676 on their takeaway caffeine fix. Lattes were found to be the most popular order, followed by cappuccinos, then flat whites, according to the research, which was commissioned by McDonald’s.
