    A new study has found sustainable transport use is at an all time high here in Dublin. It found public transport use was the most popular way to trek into town. Nearly three quarters of people (74.1%) made their way into town by public transport, bike or taxi last year. The study took a look at more than 192 thousand people, and found that car use has dropped by almost 20 thousand since the first report in 2006.

    A man in his 30s was rushed to hospital following the serious assault at a retail centre on Ninth Lock Road in Clondalkin this morning. The incident unfolded around 11.45am today and the victim was taken to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment of injuries, which are described as non-life-threatening. Gardaí are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage from anyone who was in the area at the time.

    Ticketmaster has been ordered to fully refund a person for tickets to Coldplay at Croke Park last year, who ended up crouching in 'restricted view' tickets as they were unable to see the band. James McGetrick of Corrib Road, Terenue in Dublin 6 took a small claims case against Ticketline Unlimited Company - trading as Ticketmaster. Dublin District Court heard Mr McGetrick paid for €332 euro for two seats on the lower Hogan Stand through pre-sale for the concert on August 29th, 2024.

    The first ever NFL game is coming to Dublin. It's been confirmed that the Pittsburgh Steelers will face the Minnesota Vikings at Croker on September 28th. Dublin is one of several European cities to host NFL games later this year, along with London, Berlin and Madrid. It was announced earlier this year that the Pittsburgh Steelers were coming to Dublin, and today the National Football League has confirmed who they’ll be playing.
