    The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, said its operatives at the Uyo Zonal Directorate, have arrested three persons for alleged Internet fraud. The EFCC Spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, in a release on Wednesday, said the suspects are currently being held at a facility of the commission in Uyo. He said the suspects were arrested, on Wednesday, during an early morning sting operation at Mbierebe, Stadium Road, Akpasak Estate, and Oron Road, all in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

    A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Akwa Ibom State and Chairman, PDP Advocate for Peace and Justice (PAPAJ), Dr. Tom FredFish, has urged the party’s leaders to invoke constitutional provisions and expel the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, from the party.
