(Bloomberg) -- Owl & Co. calculated YouTube sales by estimating how much time people are spending watching podcasts and estimating viewership by country. The company vetted the numbers with many major podcasting companies. Owl & Co. also accounted for listenership in China, particularly on the popular app Ximalaya Inc., which is in talks to sell to Tencent Music Entertainment Group for $2.4 billion.
